Egg Pulling:
The Silver Wings does not at any time pull eggs for incubation, no matter what the circumstances are. We do not believe in altering what nature is doing.

Hand feeding Policy:
We hand feed our birds 2-3 weeks after hatching, this policy is "only" if I feel comfortable doing so. This is to ensure our Avian's get the best of what mom and dad have to offer. Please don't fall into the hype that any bird has to be hand fed enables your bird to be tame and never bite you.

This is Hype, it is not factual. The truth is various breeders use the term hand fed from birth in order for you to buy from them. It also allows breeders to mark their birds up by convincing you their way is better. Also, in fact please remember Parrots bite, period. It happens, a parrot is a parrot. whether the Avian means to or as an accident, it happens

Weaning Policy:
| Our Aviary does not ship or hand over any of our Avian's until each Avian is 100% weaned. Upon weaning we verify for 1-2 weeks each Avian is eating and drinking 100% on their own. This policy is to protect our birds as well as our customers. Please note we are interacting with your new friend constantly, this helps transition happy healthy birds to our customers.

Shipping Policy:
The Silver Wings does not ship any of our birds that are not fully weaned. Please do not ask! Shipping and shipping crates are at the buyers expense. Please understand that the airlines depending on choice, have their own shipping crates and that price will come from them, and be transferred to you before we can ship.

Deposit:
The Silver Wings requires a deposit of half of the total price including shipping and services, per Avian, to reserves your new friend. Balances must be received 3 days prior to shipping. Please Note: Deposits and payments are non-refundable. There are absolutely no exceptions to this policy.

DNA Records/Sexing Policy:
The Silver Wings can DNA your bird for $30.00 each Avian. The Silver Wings keeps back up copy's of all DNA paperwork, Hatch Certificates and Avian registration, clutch registration. We do this for free. Records can be made available with written consent of original owner or with verbal approval from the original owner. Avian Record transfers are available for a fee of $80.00- Please note we are extremely through, therefore, it takes a lot of time and cost to transfer, and it is for the lifetime of the bird
